· Fashion Era: Fashion in
clothing evolves from time to time or period, such as Regency, Romantic,
Victorian, Edwardian, Flapper,1940's Utility Rationing, Dior's New Look, 1960's
Mini dress, 1970's Disco, 1980's New Romantics, Power Dressing, Haute Couture,
Royal Robes, Fashion Semiotics, Body Adornment, Retro, etc.
· Fashion in
Climate: There is several different fashion of clothing in
different climate. For example, in cold climate, designers tend to design fashionable
clothes for four-season’s weather (i.e., Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter) which
are yet fashionable but still practical to keep the body warm by using a wool
material for example. In cold weather, people used to wear thermal insulated
clothes as well. This is done by wearing a few layers of garments in order to
keep warm. Incomparable for hot climate, different materials such as cotton are
used in order to keep your body cool as you will get sweat easily. People in
hot climate are not wearing many layers of garments as it is not suitable for
the weather. One layer of garments is necessary to keep your body cool. In
addition, people used hats with overhang cap to protect themselves from glare
and using umbrellas to avoid getting wet from rain.
